Derome is Sweden’s largest family owned wood industry and the supply from forest to finished houses, which has given them a unique opportunity. They are located on the west coast of Sweden. The font was meant to be use from diverse set of functions, from burns on wood to bills, but has ended up as a favorit in the company and is used on their website. The shapes are based on a mixture of different inspirations. I have made all the parts of the font, both the type design, the digital font technology and web specifics.
